XPR – 2-in-1 Industrial Roller Press and Laminator for Production Lines

The XPR opens new possibilities for industrial production lines with its unique continuous roller press system, capable of replacing traditional static pressing in many processes, including hot-melt polyurethane (HMPUR) applications.

A true 2-in-1 industrial roller press and laminator, it combines rolling press and lamination functions, offering a versatile solution that reduces costs, optimizes floor space, and increases productivity, while fully supporting high-volume production lines.

Versatile Industrial Roller Press and Laminator

The XPR is designed for production lines requiring precise coating deposition and pressing on adhesive-coated surfaces.

It offers multiple operating modes depending on the coating type and production needs:

  • Single roller press: for freshly assembled compositions, the XPR applies continuous, uniform pressure on an adhesive-coated panel with sheet coating, ensuring optimal adhesion without material shift.
  • Simultaneous lamination and pressing: the machine can apply a roll-based coating on an adhesive surface while pressing, providing uniform deposition and perfect adhesion, with automatic coating cutting for maximum precision and productivity.
  • Alternating use: the XPR can switch between these two modes according to production requirements.
  • Continuous process: the XPR enables continuous application of roll coatings onto a base material also in roll form, pre-coated with adhesive, without intermediate cutting. This mode maximizes line speed, reduces handling, and ensures consistent and efficient application for high-productivity processes.

This combination of flexibility, precision, and power makes the XPR an ideal 2-in-1 industrial roller press and laminator for controlled lamination and pressing in any industrial process, delivering reliability, adaptability, and productivity.

Integration into Complete Production Lines

The XPR can be integrated into a full production line and combined with various complementary equipment:

  • Glue spreader upstream: prepares and treats the surface before overlay deposition or pressing by the XPR.
  • Process and protective film laminator downstream: ensures immediate protection of the finished product after pressing.

The XPR serves as the central unit of our complete production lines, integrating brushing, adhesive application, coating deposition, pressing, and protective lamination. These lines can be configured with varying levels of automation and enhanced with additional modules to meet the specific requirements of each industrial process.

Multiple options are available, allowing coating application on the top side, bottom side, or double-side, providing high flexibility and optimal adaptation to production constraints.
