OMMA

OMMA is one of the world leaders in the manufacture of roller machines. With an experience of more than 50 years, the company employs today about 30 people.

OMMA was founded in 1966 in northern Italy by a mechanical expert who was originally involved in the maintenance of woodworking machines. After producing his first gluing machines and wishing to expand his range, he launched his first fully automated line in 1975.

In the 1980s, OMMA took advantage of the photographic boom to release its first industrial laminating machine. The advent of digital photography will allow OMMA to focus on the machines of protective film application. The company made its first sales abroad and began to make a name for itself on an international level.

It is during a trip to the USA at the end of the 1990's that OMMA discovers the techniques of gluing by Hot-Melt Polyurethane (PU) adhesive (HMPUR). With the growth of its activity, OMMA increases its production capacity and moves to the outskirts of Milan, in the town of Limbiate. The company then became a renowned player in the laminator market and attracted the attention of Novacel® (Chargeurs Group), which acquired it in 2017.
